Calculate the ECF volume and its quantitative relation to Total Body Water given:

  • Amount of Thiosulphate injected=150mg
  • Plasma conc. of Thiosulphate at the end of 1 hour = 1mg/100ml (0.01 mg/ml)
  • Amount of Thiosulphate excreted during 1 hour = 10 mg
