  • Maximal voluntary ventilation = 120 L/min
  • Resting respiratory rate = 12/min
  • Tidal volume = 500ml

MVV is the maximum volume of air which can be breathed in and out of the lungs by forceful respiration.

Breathing reserve is the balance between maximal breathing capacity and respiratory minute volume.

Dyspnea is difficulty in breathing.

Within normal limits.
